Hi! My name is Janne Bratthammer. I’m 22 years old and come from Karmøy. I went to teacher training college in Bergen 03-06, and now I'm completing my education at the University of Stavanger. Last term I studied "Introduction to English", "English teaching methodology" and "English literature after 1900". Now I do "Uses of English", "Sounds of English", and "American genesis".

I live in a flat outside Stavanger with my two own dogs; Javito and Hobby. Besides school I like to spend time talking to my friends, either on the computer, the phone or, preferably; in person. And of course my dogs take up a lot of my time. People who don't love dogs may not understand this, but in addition to being my pets, they are like both children and friends. I can not imagine living without them; I would have been so lonely and bored. Being active in a dog club is fun for the dogs as well as for me. The Cavalier club in Rogaland is the club we are active in now.

Apart from Javito and Hobby my family consists of 5 other members. My mum, Helene, and my dad, Oddmund, live in our home in Karmøy together with Chico. My father is a carpenter and my mother works in a kindergarten. Chico's job is to spread happiness. I'm the oldest sibling. My brother Rune (20) also lives in Stavanger. He studies television and multimedia production at the university. Arvid (16) goes to upper secondary school in a ship! Check out this link: gann.no. This ship is stationed near Stavanger. Us all living in the same city gives us the opportunity to meet up now and then, when Arvid's ship isn't on one of its journeys. It is also easy for us to go home; only an hour by the fast-going boat from the city of Stavanger.
