Description of my special boy:

To have the full responsibility of a living creature is pretty special. The bond between you gets very strong and you have a best friend for ever.

Javito is my first own dog. I hoped for a show dog, but Javito is under bite. Because of that I don't show him anymore. Still it was together with Javito I learned about showing dogs and the different prizes. I'm much grateful that I got him first of my show dogs, because that made me understand that finding a possible champion is not very easy. I've had the main responsibility for Javito from the start, so naturally he's most connected to me. Because of that he of course joined me when I moved away to study in Bergen. He has gotten used to travelling between two homes. As long as he is with me, he seems to be happy. Unfortunately Javito doesn't have the characteristic Cavalier temperament, when he is in contact with some adults and dogs. He loves to be with people and dogs he knows though. Most important he has never reacted negative on children, and that is very important indeed. Although Javito can seem tough on the outside, he is a proper cuddly boy. He is the most faithful, and so patient. When I'm sad Javito is the one that comes to comfort. Even though Javito sometimes likes to play tough and try to challenge Chico's position as a leader, Chico has always been his role model. If I ask him where Chico is, he goes to find him. Javito likes to be praised, and because of that he follows "orders" also without the treats. When we attended an agility course, it was obvious that he liked to figure out and do the different obstacles. Javito is quite frisky. If I for example bounce a tennis ball on the floor, he jumps just like it. He also jumps like that when he meets people he knows or when he catches snowballs in the air.
